- Subclip behavior has changed in version 2.0. Carefully read the section Subclips in the Premiere Pro Help, especially "To adjust media start and end times of a subclip" and "To convert a subclip to a master clip".

i think its easy enough to use Match Frame > Edit Subclip in the Source to go beyond the In and Out, without converting to Master Clip, and then trim the clip on the Timeline.
