I am running Mac OSX with a JVC BR-HD50 DVR deck. I thought I would try Premiere to see if it could capture JVC video better than Final Cut Pro with the JVC BR-HD50U deck (as I have read on some blogs).
I istalled Premiere CS4 (latest version) and have found that the ONLY JVC deck that Premiere doesn't support is the JVC BR-HD50. This deck is by far the most ubiqutous JVC deck, and one of the newer models. Premiere supports a dozen JVC decks for capture, but not this one???
Anyone have a work around?
BTW - Apple FCP isn't ideal for this deck either, but at least you can log and capture with FCP and the BR-HD50U.
