Restoring detail with the RGB Parade. In this week's podcast, Jeff Schell walks you through the steps of color correcting your footage with the RGB Parade vectorscope. In conjunction with monitoring the RGB waveforms, Jeff shows you how to take advantage of the "Maximum Bit-Depth" option by using high bit-depth effects like ProcAmp and RGB Curves.

You'll learn how to use the ProcAmp effect to restore detail to overblown colors that were clipped above 100% when converted from the file's native YCrCb format (scary long acronym... you don't need to know what it means). Using the RGB Curves effect, you'll discover how to restore detail and tweak individual color channels independently.
